Hi all
things are going really well at camp i am loving my job here (other than all the mantance_ but i have been going on a few recruiting trip which have been sweet and i have been accepted as the male head councilor for the summer
this possision scares my and excites me greatly, i will be responcible for about 30 - 40 councilors each week as well as just under 200 campers it is something that i will need gods strength for everyday and i pray that i can start getting prepared now for the hard times that are going to come

I have been working with a youth group in my town, Crofton and i love the kids to bits they are awesome, we went on a skiing trip this weekend and it was rad, a heaps good time hanging out with them and hearing there stories. i look forward to having my friendship with them grow over my time here

Wednesday i go over to the main land again for a few more collage visits and then i will get to hang out with old staff too.

Thanks for your suport and love
prayer for strangth and motovation would be grand
Love Brendan

It has been a long time coming sorry

Love you all and i will do my best to keep this up dated\

I am sitting here in a Starbucks in LA I had a 6 hour stop over so i decided to catch a bus and see the town i ended up at manhattan Beach its aright but loads of pollution also i found most people here are REALLY angry but that might have just been the bus drivers and people there but all good.

I had an awesome time back home i love all my friends and family so much and it was the hardest things i have ever had to do leaving them. But i know that God wants me here and i have awesome friends here 2 who i can not wait to see and hang out with again.

Some of my highlights from being home again was Def hanging out with people, Did a Road trip to the EP with Jo Sim Amy and Kelly (the Andrew one) so that was rad, as well as Christmas over there and camping after that as well.

It was awesome to be In Dave And Sussans wedding a huge honour to see them again as well as hanging out loads at the chev and with all my friends

Also lots of hours spent with Jo and Sim and Mum and dad was awesome, Jo and Sims bug news is that Jo in preggers so i'm going to be an uncle so that will be rad but i miss the birth which is sad.

That's all from me for now i will post this when i get to Cow Town

This is what has been happening

Hello Friends

Sorry it has been so long since i last wrote most of you know that I'm not very good at keeping this up to date and for that i am sorry.

So what has been happening with me??

Well for new years i was at camp for the staff retreat it was great to see everyone again but i was sad it was not for very long, but i am very excited about the summer, this year. It was an adventure because i lots one of my bags for a week and i only had one lol, so i spent the week borrowing cloths from one of my mates. I went Skiing one day which was very fun i was a bit of a n00b but it was still lots of fun and i hope to do it again soon.

I also got to hang out with some Kaleo student's which was sweet cos they are a rad group of people and i get to see some of them again in the summer so that will be sweet.

After that i went to Vancouver for a few days and got to see and spend some quality time with some friends and got to stay with one family thats was sweet and got to hang out with some more people from camp. It was lots of fun seeing Scott and hanging out with his family.

Lately i have been doing a lot of different things mostly just school and that sort of Jazz, this semester i am doing New testament Literature, Intro to the bible, Personal evangelicalism, World views (great class) and Homiletics (learning how to preach). I am really enjoying these classes and i find that they are pushing me more than last semester, I have become a little less motervated so if you could pray for that that would be super.

I have had a new house mate move in which is sweet because he is a rad dude and makes rent a bit cheaper, he is also planing on coming To Qwanoes with me this summer so that should be fun.

Talking of Qwanoes i have applied for a job there for the summer and should know if i got a curtian position by the end of next week, I am learning lots that i am not in control but God is, To be honest i don't really like this as i like to be in control. I don't know what i am doing after the summer (north American summer) but i know that God in is control and this gives me Comfort. I am a little clearer on what i will be doing than i was a week or so ago.

Lately at school i help oginize a prayer retreat that was sweet and i hope to put some pictures up on here from there. Speaking of photos if you want to check out the ones i have taken www.flickr.com/bobsta01 is where i put up a lot of mine.

I have also been playing a lot of Squash which has meant that i am feeling a lot better as i became very slack with my fitness, I am also working a lot more (starting tomorrow) which will be good for the bank but i really don't like my Job so thats a bit hard.

I have also lately seen how precious life is and that it does not take much for it to end so i want to take the time to tell you that if you are reading this then i love you and appriciate you and thank you for what you have done in my life. I also have been learning how important prayer is. Its amazing and so often we do not think about it as much as i think we should

So thats A bit of what i have been up to, If you would like to pray for me the biggest one is direction i don't know what God wants me to do with my life so that would be rad. Also just that i finish this school year with Gusto because i am looking forward to going back to camp and i need to look at the now. And i would also love to hear what has been happening with your lives because i love all you and miss you lots.

Christmas and Chilling

Hi guys
How has everyone been?? Well i have been fantastic!! Christmas was really fun for me, although i missed my family and friends from Australia I have been very blessed to be able to spend Christmas in a loving Family in Canada. I Spent it with a friend from camp Brandon, And his family. They have been so good to me opening up their house and treating me as a member of the family. To make it easier they are nearly as crazy as my family.
I spent my time doing some very cool things that would not be able to be done in Australia, Building a snow fort, Ice skating (im sure Australians are not ment to be on ice) Toboganing, going to see ice Sculptures. It has been rad. I also got to spend time with Brandons friends and went and saw a movie with some of them and went to see D (brandon sister) play vollyball even with Brandon not there.
I went shopping at the worlds biggest shopping mall on the busiest day. It was pritty crazy but i got some amazing sales, a 250 GB external HDD. for $95 and a tripod for 60% off.
Tomorrow i head back to the island, where i will be there till the 8th so that is going to be awesome.
I miss you all and love you all stax
Here are some pics from my time in Edmonton, BTW i had my christmas Party at bible college i will add some pics from there when i am on my own computer again.
Love all

In E Town

Well school is over for me and i am free well till the 8th anyway. Currently i am in Edmonton with a friend from camp Brandon Salyzyn and his family, they have taken me in as one of there own and it is awesome to be welcomed so lovingly into there family.
Unlike Calgary Edmonton does not get Chanooks so it stays cold all the time, the result that the snow does not melt so there is much more than Calgary. I have been taking full advantage of this, sunday night we started work on our snow fort, yesterday we went tobonganing and today we are going ice scating should be fun it is something i have not done since i about 14 on a big night out.
After christmas i head to vancouver island to hang out with camp friends at camp. This is going to be amazing, as i have missed everyone so much. Then i may spend a few days on the main land then head back to Cow Town for the start of semester 2.
Well i hope this blog finds you all well have a merry christmas and my Gods gift of Jesus never loose its impact. Im not going to lie it often does with me.
Love Brendan

Im having a little proble puting images on i will try abit later
